General Interest

(Work Spaces Only)

PLEASE NOTE - We often DO NOT have open studios.

Filling out an application in no way ensures that we will have a work or residential studio become available in your desired timeframe.

All our studios are unique and come in varied sizes and amenities (certain studios have private sinks, heat pumps, concrete floors, exterior windows etc. Tenants have stayed at ARQ between 3 months and 17 years, meaning we rarely have studios available - and certain spaces won’t work for all crafts/creative pursuits.

—-

We are not a good fit for tenants who do not want to share common spaces, or who are sensitive to sound (sound bleeds between walls - many artists = many tools in use during the work day), or dust/allergens (the majority of our spaces are built within older structures, with multiple animals on the property - You are responsible for cleaning your individual space, but common spaces will still have impact from other crafts/artists/animals on the property).

This is a community property, as such there are shared cleaning and care-taking responsibilities for communal spaces (kitchen, living room, bathrooms, common outdoor spaces).

Utilities include: electricity, heating & cooling (in-room heat-pump for most spaces), internet, water, trash & recycling (shared dumpsters), driveway snow removal & lawn care.

**We are not on or near a bus line, you must have your own vehicle.

We have studios, apartments, and storage areas across the property. Each named for something that grows on the land.
