Marigold Studio

This is a small (est. 100 sq feet) work-only studio with a private door, and window on the ground floor of the ARQ barn. Access to a shared kitchen and bathroom (second floor, stair access), but there is no direct water access or drain in this studio.

This studio is recommended for “small works” with minimal storage needed, or as an studying/dreaming/digital office space.

This space is adjacent to a hallway heated/cooled by a heatpump, but there is no ventilation in this room. Winter heating is supplemented by electric heater (provided by landlord (radiator pictured does not provide heat)), and summer cooling by fan, or keeping hallway door open.

Base Rent: $275 + Utilities: $75 = $350/month

Utilities include: electric, water, heating, WIFI, shared trash & recycling, plowing

Work-trade: Work trade for up to half of rent (excluding utilities) available for electrical, plumbing, house painting, or skilled carpentry experience.

17 minute drive from Ithaca.
12 minute drive from Trumansburg.
15 minute drive from Hector/Burdett.
**We are not on or near a bus line, you must have your own vehicle.

Pets are permitted in your work studio when you are there, but the property & building is shared with multiple other dogs and cats, so no animals with aggressive or “predator/chase” tendencies permitted. If your pet will be regularly be in the room, there will be an additional $50 annual pet fee.

RESTRICTIONS - No music/band rehearsal (sound bleeds from other adjacent spaces) or fire arts permitted in this space so as not to impact other working artists. This area is directly adjacent to other residential studios, so all working hours (eg. anything using power tools) is strictly limited to between 9am and 10pm.
