Community in Bloom 2025 is our inaugural summer program series. Drawing inspiration from the natural, abundant, growing, and expansive beauty at ARQ and in the Finger Lakes.

Public programming will include arts workshops, educational sessions, and performances from members of the ARQtist community, and broader arts community in the region.

Programs will take place July-October 2025.

Our 2025 event dates and registration details will be released as they are organized between July-October 2025.

  • Tuesday July 22nd 6-8pm

    Tuesday July 29th 6-8pm.

    Live model, outdoor sessions. Chairs, tables, and water provided. You must bring your own drawing or painting materials.

    Free to attend thanks to grant funds, but you MUST PRE-REGISTER by contacting Chris at yelir707@gmail.com

    Please note that sessions will be outside (in case rain of we will shift inside), and may be hot or in direct sun. Wear sun protection and bring cooling devices as needed.

    EQUINOX WITH THE SUNFLOWERS - September 20th - 5-8pm

    REMOTE SUNFLOWER GATHERING - September 23rd - 5-7pm EST

    All Sunflower Eco-therapy programs are FREE thanks to our grant funding, but you must pre-register.

    Join naturalist and forever wild child Alex Van Nostrand for a family-based ecotherapy workshop at ARQ Barn! 

    Ecotherapy is rooted in nature-based connection as a way to enhance mental and physical well-being.It's based on the idea that humans have a deep connection with the natural world and that intentional engagement through structured activities be beneficial
