Silent Auction - Metal Studio Repairs Fundraiser

About Our Auction

ARQ Barn’s first rented studio, Black Walnut, was the blacksmith shop of Durand Van Doren, called Durand’s Forge from 1998-2020.  The building was originally a tractor shed built in the 1950s, and is in need of some significant infrastructure improvements to keep it standing as a place to make art.

Durand’s Forge transitioned to Crepuscular Forge as Teo Aceto stepped into the role of master blacksmith in 2020, and Durand semi-retired. There are four studios that make up “The Metal Shops,” and we want to keep them standing for a good long time!

Silent Auction - BID HERE

To support needed repairs to each of the Metal Shop structures (replacing windows, fixing roof leaks, and adding siding, and french drains) we have curated a SILENT AUCTION OF FLX GOODS! A mix of items made at ARQ, and those grown, cultivated, cured, and brewed by our many partners in the region.

BIDDING OPENS SEPTEMBER 23RD AND CLOSES OCTOBER 11TH.

Please contact Alex Van Nostrand at 607-227-6113 or alexandravannostrand@gmail.com with any questions about the Silent Auction or items listed
