Sunflower Field Dress-up Swap & Shop

Come play dress up with us at the ARQ Sunflower Field!

Shop sustainably among the flowers, take pictures, share in bubbly deliciousness (alcoholic and non-alcoholic available for purchase), and support local women-owned clothing & textile businesses.

Bring your own items to trade in the “free swap area” including clothing, shoes, or personal care items.

Red carpet strut in your new threads at 6:30pm at the golden hour before sunset.

All-gender clothing available with a wide range of sizes. Current vendors include: Themis & Thread with the fabulous Jesse Beardslee, An Excess of Fabulous with Ariel Arbisser, Sustainable Spinster with Zoë Van Nostrand, and more! (If you’d like to be involved, please contact zvannostrand@gmail.com.

COST: It is recommended to bring cash, as cell service isn’t strong in the Sunflower Field. Individual vendors may also accept Venmo or checks. EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO COME CELEBRATE THE SUNFLOWERS, even if you don’t want to spend money.

  • $10-$100 Clothing from vendors will range.

  • $5-10 Drinks will be available at (alcoholic & non-alcoholic).

  • $15 Pick your own Sunflower Bouquet

DATE & TIME - Friday September 12th, 4-7pm

LOCATION

ARQ Barn - 6340 Carman Rd, Trumansburg NY 14886 - Please follow the parking signs at the road, and park along the road, or in the field by the parked school bus just past the house (there will be neon orange traffic cones to direct you - it’s okay to drive on the mown parts of the field). Please DO NOT park in any parking lot or driveway areas by the house or the ARQ Barn. We will be located INSIDE the Sunflower Field

ACCESSIBILITY NOTES - We will be outside for the full program (in case of serious rain the event will be cancelled), either seated or walking. Chairs will be available, it is less than 300 yards from parking to the Sunflower Field. If you are allergic to bees or wasps please bring an epi-pen (we won’t be close to any known hives, but there are honey bees on the property).
