‘The Golden Answer’ with Know Your Roots

Explore the amazing world of Goldenrod with Debbie Biltonen of Know Your Roots. Goldenrod is an herb with much more healing power than you ever knew.

Did you know that Goldenrod has 7 times the antioxidant levels of green tea? Come learn about its abilities to ameliorate allergy symptoms, support the urinary system, and soothe pain. And that’s just for starters.

Every participant will make their own 4oz Goldenrod tincture to take home. We will have jars available, but also encourage participants to bring clean jars with lids from home to re-use.

We will provide tables, chairs, and water. We will be outside for the full program, please wear sunscreen, and dress comfortably. If you are allergic to bees or wasps please bring an epi-pen (we won’t be close to any known hives, but there are honey bees on the property).

ACCESSIBILITY NOTES - We will be outside for the full program, either seated or walking, the forecast for Saturday is a high of 82°. We will be walking through flat mown grass to access the Pollinator Meadow (chock-full of Goldenrod, Milkweed, and Thistle!). This program will be offered in English.
